Phase VI - Supportive Care

Some patients, after completing a treatment program, prefer to be released from scheduled care. An agreement is made between the doctor and patient that if the symptoms surface again, then the patient will return as soon as possible for another treatment to “patch things up.” It is quite common for joint stiffness or muscle pain to return as a result of daily stresses and strains. Treatment is given on an “as needed” basis, and the patient is discharged again after each episode is treated.
